CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — The Lady Movin' Mavs faced off against the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater to kick off the 2019 National Intercollegiate Wheelchair Basketball Tournament on March 14 at State Farm Center. 

The Lady Movin' Mavs got off to a strong start, outscoring Wisconsin-Whitewater by five points. UTA ended the first quarter with a 14-9 lead.

Wisconsin-Whitewater outscored UTA 14-7 in the fourth quarter, but the Lady Movin' Mavs sealed their first victory with a final score of 68-44. 

The Lady Movin' Mavs will play in the National Intercollegiate Wheelchair Basketball Tournament championship game. at 2 p.m. March 16 at State Farm Center.
