With over 6,000 seats full, schools from across Texas and Oklahoma came together for the first day of the 29th annual GoodPhil Games on March 8 at Verizon Theatre.

The event is hosted by UTA and the University of North Texas' Filipino Student Associations this year.

GoodPhil encourages students to celebrate Filipino culture and is kicked off with a dance competition that includes three categories: culture, spirit and modern.
